Alongside any online marketing methods that you use for your business, business cards and leaflets are still the most heavily used method of offline marketing and advertising. Designs for printed literature have to be created in a different format to those designed for the web. Where as most images for the web are usually designed at 72 dpi (dots per inch) or below, images and designs for printing should be designed to 300dpi as a minimum to ensure high quality printed images. You should check with your printing company to see if they have specific requirements for dpi as well as file formats. I can provide designs for printed literature in the following formats: .png, .tiff, .jpg, .gif, .bmp.
